Welcome to our piece of the American Dream. We look forward to meeting new friends and connecting with old ones as our vineyard and winery ages with time. Welcome to 65 Vines Winery!
In the summer of 2012, after living in the Twin Cities west metro for the previous six years, the Andrzejczak Family relocated to Roberts, WI. Four long years of searching, a bit of luck, and odd coincidence yielded them this dream property – by a coulee amongst the trees, birds, turkeys, deer , and recently black bear(s) – yet, just outside of the big city. Wasting little time, after 20+ months of meetings, introductions, and education with neighbors, township, and county officials they became St. Croix County’s first licensed winery. In June of 2013, the Andrzejczak’s (with the help of family and friends) planted their first acre of grapes. The Fall of 2014, they opened the winery’s tasting room and production facility to customers. Their embracing of the outdoors and love of wine has brought them to the beginning of this journey!
Winemaker & Vineyard Manager
Back to his Wisconsin roots! – he is originally from Franklin, WI where his friends lovingly nicknamed him “Nature boy.” A UW-Madison College of Agriculture graduate is finally at home in his element. He is always looking for the next outdoor project or adventure, and has all of the hunting/fishing seasons mapped out on his calendar. Scott brings over a decade of grape growing and winemaking experience with successful vineyards/wineries in MN and WI.
Nurse by Day, Owner by Night
Originally from Winsted, MN. One of her first few dates, with Scott, landed them at a local Minnesota winery harvesting grapes, sipping on wine, and…the rest is history. She is a registered nurse, currently wearing many hats at the River Falls Area Hospital. This proprietor prides herself on having a great palate, being most useful when it comes to the wine tasting and pairing. You may see her occasionally in the tasting room, but is usually chasing the kids around on the weekends.
Our sassy-pants, born in March of 2012. He enjoys being outside and has already spent a few hours walking up and down the rows of vines inspecting mom and dad’s hard work. Most recently he has enjoyed chasing the turkeys out of the vineyard and naming the deer that frequently visit. Will he be the second generation grape grower and winemaker? (to be determined), but he’s been known to pretend that he’s a winemaker like his daddy when playing with his friends.
VP of Time Management
This princess joined the 65 Vines family in May 2015. She definitely makes sure that everyone stays on task. She lights up a room with her big brown eyes and silly smile. Her most recent accomplishments in the vineyard are learning how to pull grass and not eating dirt.
